This is a copy of one of three Queen Anne four poster beds known to exist. Truly beautiful in its refined elegance. The graceful cabriole leg topped by the tall turned taper on the footposts is a classic feature of the period. The headposts are square tapers as in the original. Traditionally, the headposts would be hidden by the bed hangings, hence their lack of ornamentation. The headposts can be modified if you intend to use the bed without hangings.
