For over 50 years, the Country Bed Shop has been crafting handmade furniture, right here in Massachusetts. From rough lumber to finishing, each step of the building process is done right in our shop. Every piece is made to order, modified to meet your needs, and built to last for generations
Though we started out making reproduction antique beds, the shop has grown to produce so much more. We offer custom, handmade, furniture of all kinds. Our expert craftsmen have created everything from beds to chairs, tables to sideboards, antique reproductions to modern designs. If you can imagine it, we can build it, and we build it to last.
Beds: Tradition & Modernization
We offer a variety of reproduction and original design beds in styles ranging from high-style four poster beds to simple “hired man’s” low post beds. Each bed is made with traditional joinery and solid woods. Taking the best construction methods from the last 3 centuries we aim to produce pieces that will last another 300+ years. Each piece is made to order – this includes setting the rail and headboard heights properly to fit your mattress and room size.

We make a number of reproduction antique furniture including chests, chairs, tables and more. Whether you chose from one of our designs, or come with your own design in mind, our craftsmen will work to make your piece authentic, and something you and your family will be proud to own for generations to come.
