Description

This ingenious early American bed can be folded up during the day. The “Murphy bed” of a different era. With the bed folded, traditionally the curtains are drawn around to conceal it.

This bed is particularly suitable for smaller rooms where tall foot posts would take up too much space. Made with a rope spring and requires a foam mattress in order to fold.

These beds use a foam, futon or reproduction mattress, as they need to fold or roll up with the bed.
